January Glossy Box

I love living where I live but sometimes it’s almost impossible to get my parcels. I live in a block of flats with three security points before my front door, so getting parcels is literally mission impossible. My neighbour picked up my Glossy Box parcel but kept it until he saw me which was a few days ago. I know this is late but I have now resolved the issue.

I still wanted to give a review of the January Glossy Box. As it was my first one, I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. In this months beauty box there was:

-Boots Beauty Beneath Supplements RRP £39.99

-Evelyn Iona Cosmetics green tea primer RRP £22

-Nail Medic nail and cuticle energizer RRP £5.99

-Dr Botanicals Moroccan rose facial oil RRP £55

-Apicia cream blush RRP £22

I absolutely loved this box! I love the elegant simplistic look of the box. It is a pink box with the Glossy Box logo in the center. When I opened it, it’s is wrapped like a gift with pink tissue paper and a black ribbon. It looks like it was wrapped with love and care. I love that attention to detail.

All the products were perfect. They looked like full size products but I think some were samples. The fact that I couldn’t tell really surprised me. I have tried every product and absolutely love each and every product. I use the Evelyn Iona green tea primer everyday and can’t stop raving about it. It’s left my skin baby soft and smells amazing! I often use the Dr Botanicals rose oil on my face after washing it. I don’t think it has evened out my skin tone as it claims but it definitely leaves my skin feeling moisturised and soft.

I found it interesting that there were supplements in the beauty box. I wasn’t expecting that. I have used them for a few days now and haven’t yet seen any results. The course is for a whole month, maybe by the end of it I may start seeing a difference in my skin as it claims on the box. At first, the pills were large and awkward to swallow but I got used to it very quickly. I did notice that my skin broke out slightly at first, so I increased my fluid intake and it has stopped breaking out now.

Overall, I am so impressed. The box costs £10 a month plus £3.25 postage. The box is worth about £144.98, which is incredible for the price. I’m looking forward to this months box!
